MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR THESE IMPORTANT DATES

The Mid America Council of the IMA and the Wisconsin CPA Society are pleased to be able to co-sponsor a day-long seminar title "CONVERGENCE of US GAAP to IFRS".  The seminar will be held at Alverno College in Milwaukee on October 17th.  Bruce Pounder will be the conference presenter.  Many of you may have heard him at one of the recent Webinars or at the National Conference.    
Save the date for this exciting opportunity.  More details will be released in the next couple of weeks.  
 
   
The Mid America Council Leadership Training will be held in Rockford, Illinois on April 17th, 2009.  We are busily working on lining up speakers and sessions for that day and will get the details to you by January.  But in the meantime, please mark this date on your calendars as we hope to have some interesting sessions for everyone.  
 
It is highly recommended for all chapter officers to attend these sessions.  We typically have sessions on the various board positions as well as many other CPE opportunities.
